1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Wood Framing Planner mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Wood Framing Planner is a mobile application for designing wood-frame structures, including floor plan creation, automatic frame generation, 2D/3D visualization, and materials lists.

3. Informational Nature of Outputs

All outputs of the App, including generated wall designs, frame structures, floor plans, materials lists, dimensions, and any other data, are provided for informational and reference purposes only. The App’s outputs:

• are not construction documents or engineering drawings,
• are not structural analyses or calculations,
• do not replace the work of a licensed engineer, architect, or other qualified professional,
• cannot serve as a basis for building permits or construction approvals,
• are not guaranteed to be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

4. Obligation of Professional Review

The user is required to have all designs reviewed and verified by a qualified professional (licensed engineer, structural engineer, architect, or other authorized person) before using the App’s outputs for any construction purpose. The user acknowledges that:

• automatically generated designs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions,
• the App does not account for local building codes, regulations, climate conditions, or site-specific requirements,
• the App does not perform structural calculations or load-bearing assessments,
• any use of outputs without professional verification is entirely at the user’s own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of the App shall not be liable for:

• injury, loss of life, or property damage arising from the use of the App’s outputs,
• damage resulting from construction or modification of structures based on the App’s outputs,
• any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages of any kind,
• lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, or any other commercial damages,
• damages resulting from errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or incompleteness in the App’s outputs,
• damages resulting from unavailability, outages, or malfunction of the App,
• damages resulting from unauthorized access to or loss of user data.

This limitation of liability applies regardless of whether the damage was caused by negligence, a defect in the App, an algorithm error, or any other cause, even if the operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The operator specifically does not warrant:

• the accuracy, reliability, or error-free nature of the App’s outputs,
• fitness of the App for any particular purpose,
• uninterrupted or error-free operation,
• compliance with local building codes, regulations, or standards.

7. User Responsibility

The user bears full responsibility for:

• any decision to use the App’s outputs in any manner,
• ensuring professional review before undertaking any construction,
• compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and laws,
• all consequences arising from the use or misuse of the App’s outputs.

8. Indemnification

The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of the App, its employees, partners, and suppliers from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from the user’s use of the App’s outputs or from third parties to whom the user has made the outputs available.

9. Use of the App

You may use the App for personal and professional purposes related to wood-frame construction planning. You agree not to misuse the App or use it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

11. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Wood Framing Planner and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App.
